Pajo`s in Burnaby

Love the fish and chips there. It can get quite busy there. I don't think there is indoor seating.

7/23, 2020 @ 12:45 pm. The worst fish n chips I had ! We ate at the picnic table not far from the kiosk. Fish were small and the fries soggy and both were greasy !!! We traveled from Cloverdale to here. It was very disappointing...was expecting 4 Star Fish n chips but got a 1 ☆ !!! See photos...P.S. We have been at Richmond location and had a 4 Star Fish n Chip.

First time to this location. Very nice park. Food is as good as other Pajo's stores. Love eating there. Tasty Fish, and it has unlimited French fries refill, but I am always full after one refill of French fries.

DISAPPOINTMENTING staff . Asian male order taker was not happy when he was reminded twice to cut burgers into 2 for kids. When approached him again for the 3rd time he was not interested to listen anything. He was suggested to come up with some kind of marking for his staff member so they know what to do specifically for each order. But typical approach was displayed by saying sorry and walking away. Pathetic order taker

Classic, newspaper-cone fish and chips. Fries and pop are refillable, fish is crispy and perfect. A must have for any Fish & Chips fan.

We rode our bikes out to rpp today and decided to stop for our favorite fish and chips, we were sorely disappointed. Whats happened to their portion sizes?? We orderd a 2 piece halibut with fries with an extra piece of halubut to share between the two of us. Normally this is more than enough for us. Not so today, the fish was snack size and the chips were a small portion, enough for one. The taste is still really good but for $32, incl tax and tip we were left wanting more. Their portions are considerably smaller. We wont be going back.

I waited 30 min line then waited 30 more min for food . This place has the absolute worst Managment I have ever encountered in my 33 years of my life ! This place needs to serve food fast, especially waiting on the hot sun ! Absolutely terrible customer service and terribly slow . The food is not worth the wait ! You guys have lost my business forever . If I was the owner of this business I would serve food fast and way more efficient . Just by waiting my food and observing , there is literally 15 people inside this little kitchen and yet so slow ! All those employees are a waste of money . This business is terrible .

The fish is fresh and tender. However the fries I had was overcooked. A little pricy.

Enjoyed our visit today. Pajos was observing social distancing and the service was also very quick.

Very good fish and chips. Staff is timely with your order and delivers quality. The cone serving is a new but inventive presentation method. I would definetley come again.

used to be my favorite restaurant. came back after they reopen and the portions got way smaller, fish was overcooked, and it also gave me diarrhea. triple kill

Tried Halibut fish and chips, and clam chowder. Service and food were both good. Great location as well .

Always enjoy our visits here. Everything we have had has been good. Cheeseburger 4/5, cod 4/5, and fries 4/5 this last time. Nice that they have some alternatives for fish and chips. Would recommend this place since it’s become our “go to” place for food when at the park. Having a place like this makes having a day at the park easy. So does the ice cream place. Yes, probably going there again.

Ordered the standard 1piece and chips and 2piece. I was very disappointed with the changes to this longtime favourite place. What happened? New ownership? Prices went up and quantity down. The fries were mostly little bits and the fish was nugget size inside. I see why they stopped the “cone” packaging... the meal would be lost down inside!Will not be returning

Great little outdoor seating location nessled between a park and the river. Super busy in summer! They take cash or plastic. Serve yourself style with a huge emphasis on fish and chips. Friendly staff, super quick and nice fresh fish with a warm crunchy breading! Bring your family and a blanket and have a picnic on the nearby grass! Watch out for the birds! They will take your food! Minus one star because I felt the price was a bit more than the portion size warranted.

EDIT: The matter has since been rectified and I have amended the review to 5-Stars for the service.I just paid $35 after tip for a burger, fries, coleslaw and a piece of halibut only to find multiple long hairs in the burger within the first couple of bites. The price is something that I can deal with however it's inexcusable to find hair. Are the staff not wearing hairnets?!?

Twice in the month of May I had fish and chips there. The first time the fries were tiny bits and pieces and the second time when I broke open the fish there was barely any fish inside. When I complained to the gentleman serving he told me that's how the chips come. No apologies or "I will make sure it doesn't happen again". I'm now assuming they get their fries out of a packet. I won't be going back again.

Hot and made to order but actually quite bland, had the Pacific Wild Cod and chips. Best Fish and Chips in Greater Vancouver still goes to Mama's Fish and Chips food truck

Went to Rocky Point for lunch today! Worse food ever! Fish was over cooked the fries were a container of grease and soggy !! The oil for fish tasted old and the fries were over blanched and soaked up oil!!Such a disappointment, used to be sooo good, but the quality of the food and atmosphere has gone way downhill!! They don’t ring bell and say thank you for tipping like in previous years, there is no welcoming feeling anymore!!!!

Great for a quick bite

Got scolded at by a lady that worked at Pajo’s for refilling our drinks & for having the wrong cup. Except the cashier gave us the cup for our bottomless pop (it was white) and he SHOULD have told us that we had to ask for a new cup if we wanted a refill. There was a lady before us who used her own water bottle to refill a drink, and nothing was said to her.
